Hello there!
Here's another microdose of interesting things I enjoyed this week--written by me, Raad—CEO of LawTrades.
1. A product survey I made 📱
Tell me what you think
If we don’t build a product users love, we'll eventually die. I’d like to instill a stronger product improvement cycle in our company and it starts with talking to our users (you guys), finding out what’s sub-par, and then making it better. Inspired by the Japanese word “Kaizen”, I want us to improve our product by 5% every week. So if you answer a few questions in that link, I’ll email the first 100 of you a $10 Amazon gift card.
2. A water I'm drinking 😈
I'm a sucker for clever branding. Here’s a snippet from their site: “Lets be clear. Liquid Death is a completely unnecessary approach to bottled water. We started Liquid Death with the totally evil plan to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more water more often. Most products in the health and wellness space are all marketed with“aspirational”fitness models and airbrushed celebrities. Fuck that. Why should unhealthy products be the only brands with“permission”to be loud, fun, and weird? Besides, all marketing and branding is bullshit. So we’re going to take ours less seriously and have more fun with it.”
3. A podcast I learned from 🔉
Topics include: aha moments, happiness is a choice, calming your mind, creativity, meaning of life, and more.
4. An article I wrote 📝
How to Ensure Your Remote Staff is Engaged(Entrepreneur)
5. A hack I frequent 📚
Amazon
This is how I get free books. When buying something from Amazon that I don’t need it tomorrow, I select standard shipping and get $1 towards a kindle book for each shipment. If you use it for repeat purchases like toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, etc… and you should be able to squeeze out free books every so often.
6. A quote I'm pondering 🧘
We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.
― Confucius
Have a mindful week!
