3/ What Iβm learning about meditation π§π½ββοΈ
β
Donβt try to stop thoughts or watch them like passing clouds. Instead, try to disown them from your identity. Let the birds fly over your house, but donβt let them build a nest. If done properly youβll enter a natural peaceful void and stay there longer.
β
RAIN is also a powerful tool to create structure during your meditation (credit to Tara Brach) while being more compassionate as you βtagβ your emotions.
β
The 4-steps of RAIN are:
β
β’ Recognize what is happening;
β
β’ Allow the experience to be there, just as it is;
β
β’ Investigate with interest and care;
β
β’ Nurture with self-compassion.
β
Afterwards, simply notice your own presence and rest in that open space of awareness. When youβre no longer identified with passing states like fear or anger, you start to tap into the that natural bliss of just being.

6/ A quote Iβm pondering π
β
A true vocation calls us out beyond ourselves; breaks our heart in the process and then humbles, simplifies and enlightens us about the hidden, core nature of the work that enticed us in the first place.
