πŸ—‘ Paper cut

Emerson said β€œNo man thoroughly understands a truth until he has contended against it.”

‍

Your mind is the worst place for serious thinking.

‍

The first step is to get the whole wrestling match out of your head and on a piece of paper.

‍

A place where you can walk around it and see if from all sides.

‍

Attack.

‍

Switch sides and counter attack.

‍

You can’t do that while it’s still in your head.

‍

By externalizing your thoughts, you become your own teacher.

‍

You can judge yourself, give feedback, and provide a more objective perspective.

‍

When it’s in your head, it’s tainted with discrimination.

‍

Because the mind is constantly filling itself with delusion.

‍

Paper progressively strips away the false, leaving only what is true.

‍

It requires more subtraction and unlearning than learning.

‍

A process of deprogramming.

‍

Who you (think) you are is the only thing standing in the way.
